Call for Proposals
The SoCal AG-SURFS Education and Research Conference invites anyone to submit proposals for session topics, presentations, posters, or workshops for its program that will take place at the Fullerton Arboretum located on the California State Fullerton, University campus on April 7-8th, 2022. Proposals can be on topics such as sustainable urban food systems, agroecology, food justice, nutritional sovereignty, and the inclusion of diverse cultural and traditional perspectives. Sessions and workshops will be 50 minutes in length, and presentations will be ten minutes. The format will be hybrid, with most sessions and workshops synchronously available for virtual participation. We welcome submissions from all interested individuals. There are a limited number of student travel scholarships available, with details forthcoming.
There will be dedicated time to conversation about establishing a consortium arrangement among interested institutions.
The proposal submission deadline is February 1st , 2022. Proposal submission must be a maximum of 250 words. Please register for the conference before submitting a proposal. Conference registration is free. To begin the registration process, please visit the following page for more information:
